NA-Selank 10mg

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is based on the naturally occurring immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg), extended with a Pro-Gly-Pro tripeptide sequence that confers resistance to carboxypeptidase and prolyl endopeptidase degradation. NA-Selank is its N-acetylated form: the same sequence with an acetyl group capping the N-terminus, a standard modification used to slow breakdown by aminopeptidases. Research has documented its effects on monoamine neurotransmitter metabolism, BDNF expression, enkephalin levels, and IL-6 modulation. Unlike many anxiolytic compounds studied in preclinical models, selank has not demonstrated sedative or amnestic effects in published research.
