Editorial Standards
How we choose sources, separate published evidence from vendor context, and make corrections when the record changes.
Helix North Research Editorial Team is an organizational byline for the people who maintain this site. It does not imply a medical board, clinical practice, or credentials we have not published. Our articles explain research literature and laboratory handling; they do not provide medical advice or human-use instructions.
Start with the record
We prefer original peer-reviewed studies, trial registries, regulator records, and official product labels. Review papers may help frame a field, but they do not replace the underlying study when that study is available.
Match the strength of evidence
Cell, animal, and human findings are described as different levels of evidence. Investigational status is stated plainly. We avoid turning a laboratory result into a clinical conclusion or presenting an unapproved compound as established treatment.
Keep sources visible
Research articles carry a visible source list that matches the citation URLs in their Article structured data. A source-check date records when that list was last verified; it is not used as a false article modification date.
Correct the page, not the history
If a claim is wrong, stale, or stronger than its source supports, we correct it and review related pages for the same problem. Send a source and the affected URL through our contact page.
Commercial disclosure
Helix North sells some of the research materials discussed in this library. Product links are therefore commercial links, even when they appear beside educational content. We do not describe our articles as independent reviews of our own catalog.
Product-quality statements are limited to the records we can support: production-lot testing, stated specifications, and a Certificate of Analysis where one is published. A missing CoA is stated as missing; it is not implied by organization-level language.
